Quickie Bus/Subway Portraits
I continue to carry my small leather notebook so I can sketch fellow passengers on the Manhattan buses and subways. Most of these are done in 2 minutes or less. The stops are close together and passengers arrive and leave quickly.

These are all exactly what they should be, quick sketches to capture the moment! By the way, if you are sometimes searching for a subject to draw, you might try zentangles. They sure make you aware of line, design and composition.

I'm very impressed with the great quick sketches of fellow travellers! When I work quickly, I can't seem to capture anything realistic at all - these are great.

Great sketches, if only they knew they've been immortalised!
