Best of Show
While I was sketching Uno's photo from his win as Best of Breed on Tuesday night, he was winning Best of Show at the Westminstrer Kennel Club annual show in Manhattan. It was the first time in the 100+ year history of the show that a beagle ever won Best of Show. In film clips on the news he was the perkiest, cutest thing - and I'm not especially a pet person!

Isn't he adorable - you captured him quite well!

Shirley, your portrait of Uno is perfect! I've seen Uno on several talk and news shows, and you've captured his personality.

Shirley, thank you for your nice comment on my little abstract painting. - Your dog painting is very good; I admire the perfect form and secure outline of the dog! Really well done! (I'm not very good at drawing dogs, I admit).
Kind regards from Good Old Europe!

I think I'm a pet person ... I'm just not a dog person (ironically, for someone who has painted dog portraits on commission!) but you have captured this little chap just perfectly.

I saw a clip of him winning on TV and he really was special. Your painting of him is too. You really captured that cute little guy!
