Every Day in May: May 18th
We had another bad weather Friday in New York City. So we took our grandson back to the Met for the second week in a row. This week we visited the Astor Court in the Asian Art Galleries to show Robbie the pool full of Koi. While he was enjoying the Courtyard and periodically returning to the pool with my husband, I sketched one of the swimming fish.

Lovely sketches Shirley, I envy you with the Met to sketch, so cold today I did boring house cleaning. I contemplated sketching a koi pond at a local nursery - might try that tomorrow - your figure sketches are fabulous too.

Great job with a subject that is always on the move. Beautiful colors, too!
