EDM Callenge #76: London Flowers

LondonFlowers.size.jpg Hibiscus.size.jpg

We took a long walk through Belgravia on our last day in London and I sketched the huge basket of flowers that hangs from every light pole in these areas of London and one Hibiscus flower that was blooming in front of a terrace house.  In spite of higher than normal temperatures, these baskets always looked fresh and beautiful.

So glad I could help out Shirley!! ;) Isn't it beautiful - this one has a lovely red/orange rim. I used to work in Belgravia and Green and Stone is my fav art shop - did you sketch it from a photo or do it right there? What super memories you have with your drawings! Hope London wasn't too hot for you!

A beautiful hanging basket - and hibiscus. Wonderful memories, I'm sure.

OH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GORGEMENTOUS!!! LOVE LOVE that basket of flowers hanging on the lamp post!! And you did a fantastic job with the hibiscus!!! What a great trip!

Shirley, your drawings are incredible! You are certainly he most mutl-dimensional person I know. I'm enjoying London through your eyes. Thanks.
