Every Day in May - 7

Some nights I am too tired and can't think of anything that I want to draw.  But I still want to make sure I do one quick sketch everyday, so I carefully draw a rubber band.  It is great for eye hand coordination and everyone is different!

We spent our usual 12 hours with 2 of our grandchildren yesterday - and our 8 month old is crawling and pulling himself up on all edges.  He's adorable, but the day is long.  We feel very fortunate to be able to be part of my son and daughter-in-law's childcare arrangements for one day each week and love being with the boys.  That is clearly a real benefit of living in the same town.

I admire your dedication and commitment in the face of your fatigue. Well done - give yourself a pat on the back! nancy

Yay rubberbands! =) They have got to be one of my favorite inventions because I like using them on everything. Nicely drawn, love the dropped shadows!

I can imagine that it is quite exhausting to take care of the grandkids for 12 hours in a stretch, I have a one year old and a four year old myself. Your children should be lucky to have parents like you.

Rubber bands are a lot of fun to draw! I do them too every now and then. Wrapped around a regular glass they make for an excellent drawing exercise!

Nicely done!

Good idea. I will have to try drawing a rubber band. Your's is terrific. And I really admire your ability to draw through your fatigue!

Congratulations ! drawing a rubber band sounds like a very difficult thing to do when you are tired (at any time)

Now that is a great idea!! Everyone has rubber bands lying about. Very well drawn, kudos to you!
